We accept many common paper products at our Recycling Center, including newspapers, magazines, office paper, junk mail, paperboard (cereal boxes, soda boxes, etc.), phone books, and brown paper bags.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recommends keeping paper products clean and dry for proper recycling. Wet, greasy, or food-contaminated paper can reduce the quality of recyclable materials and may not be accepted.
Please remove excessive food waste, plastic liners, and other non-paper materials before recycling. Items such as paper towels, tissues, napkins, wax-coated paper, and heavily soiled paper products should not be placed in recycling.
