MEDICATIONS
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recommends using authorized medication take-back programs or collection sites for safe disposal. Proper disposal helps prevent contamination of Iowa’s water and reduces the risk of misuse or accidental exposure. Medications should NOT be flushed down the toilet or thrown in the trash.
HOURS
All locations will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. next Thursday, September 17, for an all-staff safety meeting.
This includes the Landfill, Recycling Center, and Household Hazardous Materials facility.
