 In many cases, fire extinguishers in Iowa can also be returned or refilled through local fire stations or fire equipment service providers. Refilling or servicing is often a preferred option when the extinguisher is still in usable condition, helping extend its life and reduce waste.

If the extinguisher is expired, damaged, or no longer functional, please bring it to our Household Hazardous Collection Center at 2151 Gypsum Hollow Road for safe and proper disposal.
